Innovation was key to this ski boot and no fewer than four patents were registered during development, both for the structure, mechanism and liner. The result: VIZION, a ski boot that has all the attributes of a high-performance 4-buckle boot but is incredibly easy to put on.
Based on a traditional overlap structure, the shell is wide open at the back to facilitate foot entry. An articulated spoiler attached to the back of the shell replicates the last of a traditional 4-buckle shoe.
Dual-core technology is used in the lower part of the shell with an injection point. This increases flexion and torsion of the shell and improves performance.
The second buckle from the top has 2 functions:
When you open the release buckle, the shaft is unlocked – when you close the whole thing again, the shaft is positioned again in the ski position after flexion.
The thicknesses of the plastic are optimized to save weight. They are mainly located under the buckles so that the shell does not distort when tightened.
A seamless toe box ensures a very high level of comfort in the toe area. It also increases thermal insulation by keeping heat inside the liner. Elastic areas in the shaft area so that the inner shoe can follow the shaft, which makes it very easy to take off and put on.
